October 2009 Photo of the MonthBeached Whale

It's not a happen story for all the Whales that head north through August to October this one washed ashore at Waddy Point. The brown colour that you can see covering the top of the whale is some type of parasite that bite onto the whale, I know they bite because they bit my finger. My theory on why whales splash around in the water is to try and keep the parasites from staying latched on.
